Despite having to change a PA mixer and the entire audience going outside five minutes before midnight to watch fireworks, another successful gig at a great new venue!

Fantastic night at the Copper Beech, despite me suffering from the after effects of a flu' jab the day before. (I ached all over and had a raspy sore throat)

The boys (!) played out of their skins and we had a fabulous response from an enthusiastic crowd - shout out to the Dereham Crew who'd come all the way by taxi, and the 'yummy mummies' and their kids who danced right through until the end!

Dashing Desmond!

A short video of our Saturday night host, Desmond Baldry giving an incomparable rendition of .Minnie the Moocher'. None of us had ever played this before, but, with ten minutes to go, we looked up the chords on the 'net!

Our best evening ever? Well if Carlsberg made gigs...

Desmond, the larger-than-life and highly talented Lowestoft restaurateur, invited us to play for his family and friends to celebrate his 60th birthday: that's him in the white Cab Calloway suit! He joined us to give an impressive rendition of 'Minnie the Moocher' - neither he nor we had ever played the song, but, regardless, it was a show-stopper! Birthday boy Desmond painted the amazing portrait of the band that adorns the wall of the Italian restaurant.

Unexpectedly, when we arrived at the Copper Beech, we found we were playing outside! Despite all the recent health issues we turned in a good performance and are back (inside!) in November.

Great gig at the Beech Tree!

A really enjoyable night at the Beech Tree, Longwater. A decent crowd stayed until after closing to enjoy our unique brand of rock and blues music, and we were immediately offered a rebooking!
